What the film shows
- A percentages question sits half-answered on a school website. The answer box is empty.
- MyHommi opens in a panel beside it — the homework page stays where it is, nothing is copied or pasted.
- It reads the question already on screen and asks one back, then offers a hint rather than the answer.
- A photo of a paper worksheet, taken on a phone, arrives in the same panel.
- The Guided Board breaks a percentage into steps; the last step is left for the child, who fills it in.
- A word from the passage is saved to My Words and comes back as a flashcard.

My children have learned in Dutch, international and bilingual schools. In our house, homework arrives in different languages, on different platforms, and taught in different ways.
After work, I found myself translating instructions, working out how each school expected a problem to be solved, and checking whether AI had actually helped — or had simply done the work for them.
There was never enough time, and every subject wanted its own app — none working where the homework already was. Each wanted a screenshot or a copy-paste first: one more step, just as my child lost the thread.
That is why I built MyHommi. Not another chatbot, and not another disconnected homework tool, but one consistent place for the everyday homework routine.
Helping with homework should not require a parent to become a translator, a teacher, a planner and an AI checker every evening.
The goal is not finished homework at any cost. It is a child who understands what they did, knows what comes next, and can say: “I get it. I did it myself.”
